Radio Wizard is incredibly easy to use. You can start enjoying your new found control of live Web radio in minutes. Begin by opening Radio Wizard. Double click the Radio Wizard icon on your desktop, or choose Start, Programs, Radio Wizard, and click the Radio Wizard icon. Radio Wizard appears in the "Ready" status, as shown here:
The VU needle moves as well, telling you that Radio Wizard is indeed monitoring your audio feed. Now the fun begins... Wait for a minute or so, then click 0:30 in the Back section. You'll hear the same audio from 30 seconds ago. Plus, the "Live" indicator will say "0:30", indicating you're now hearing audio from 30 seconds in the past. If you click Back 0:10 now, you'll go back another 10 seconds, and the indicator will read 0:40. Now, click 0:30 in the Forward section. You have skipped ahead 30 seconds. The Live indicator now should read 0:10. Now, click the Play/Pause button. This pauses playback. You can step away from your PC for a bit. The time indicator increments slowly, showing you how much time behind Live audio is being saved for you. Click Play/Pause again, and your show starts right from where you paused. Ready to make a recording now? As you're listening, click the Record button. Radio Wizard appears like this:
The status message changes to "Recording". Listen for 30 seconds or so, then click Stop. This ends the recording. A dialog box appears asking you for a file name:
Enter a name, and the recording is saved as either a WAV or MP3
file, in a folder you choose. (You can configure the folder and
WAV or MP3 format using the Settings button Congratulations! You're now a Radio Wizard expert! For more detailed information on using Radio Wizard, see the User Guide. If you haven't yet purchased Radio Wizard, click here to order. |
